Accessible to all sewers, the 2-piece MELINA swimsuit and her pretty set of rings are sure to get you attention on the beach this summer! MELINA fastens behind the neck with thin tied straps and offers 2 bottom options (low-rise bottom with a ring on each side or high-rise bottom with 2 rings on each side) and 2 top options (tied or clasp in the back).
The rings may be replaced by fabric ties or simply removed on the bottom.
Sizes : 34 to 54 (French) / 2 to 22 (US) / 6 to 26 (UK). Measurements table provided in centimeters in photo gallery (table in inches included in tutorial).

It also provides basic explanations for sewing stretchy fabrics and lycra with a sewing machine, cutting layouts for each size and the keys to adjust the pattern to your unique measurements.
Express tutorials for experienced sewists also provided in French and English.
You will need 4-way stretch fabric (lycra, performance knit…), 4-way stretch lining fabric, swimwear elastic, rings (optional), clasp (optional). Yardage in meters provided in photo gallery (yards provided in tutorial).

Un super maillot de bain. Que j’aurais pas osé acheter dans le commerce. Au final je l’ai fait et je l’adore et me rends compte que je peux porter ce style de maillot de bain sans être boudinée. En plus ya pleins de versions. J’ai fait taille basse et avec noeuds. C’est parfait malgré mon enbon point il m’embelli. Patron facile à comprendre comme d’habitude ici. Hâte d’en faire un nouveau pour les faire tourner cet été.

Si je n’avais pas craqué sur la culotte taille haute, peut-être n’aurai-je encore jamais cousu mon maillot de bain ? En tout cas je ne regrette pas d’avoir sauté dans le bain ; cela m’a permis d’apprendre à dompter la laminette ! Melina est très agréable à porter et finalement pas si compliqué à coudre quand on s’entraine un peu avant avec des échantillons de lycra !
